I love it when designers collaborate with brands which are so different from their own style that it brings a kind of fashion fusion to the table. The most recent collaboration to be announced has to be one of my favourites of the last 12 months. (Even taking into account Versace for H&M!)
Mary Kantrantzou has announced that she is teaming up with Longchamp, who are famous for their simple but beautiful tote bags, to bring us a collection that will be exclusive to French store ‘Collette’ from the end of this month.
The collection is exactly what we would expect from Kantrantzou – bold prints inspired by an ‘East meets West’ theme – and is bound to be seen everywhere from their pre-exclusive launch at Collette on January 23rd.
Eccentric London-based Greek-born designer Mary Katrantzou is making huge waves on the fashion scene with her bright and exciting designs at the moment and is tipped to be one of the biggest names in the industry.
Given her reputation this new range is bound to sell out quickly.
