Just a day after we told you about the birth of baby Blue Ivy Carter, we are now writing about her début song release. Yes, really.

It was always going to be a given that with Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z as parents this little girl was destined for stardom, though I don’t think anybody anticipated her featuring on a record with her father less than a week after her birth.

But that is exactly what has happened after new daddy Jay-Z released a track on his website titled ‘Glory feat. B.I.C’ (Blue Ivy Carter).

The track is produced by Pharell Williams and features the little girl’s first gurgles as a backing track.

The lyrics document Beyoncé’s pregnancy, including references to a previously unknown earlier miscarriage and their fears for baby Blue when they found out they were carrying her.

“Last time the miscarriage was so tragic we was afraid you’d disappear, but nah baby you magic.”

Jay-Z also raps about his love for the little girl and how she has enriched his life so far with some very moving words,

“’The most amazing feeling I feel, words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real. Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you,’

Cute!

Although, there may have been some bits that the proud daddy could have left out…

“You don’t yet know what swag is, but you was made in Paris and Mama woke up the next day and shot her album package.”

Um… that may be too much information Jay, nobody needs to know that.

The new parents also confirmed the birth of the little girl in a statement and revealed that she had been born naturally, not by caesarean as previously thought, weighing in at a healthy 7lbs.

Ahh!
